Performance
Even in its six-cylinder forms, the 2026 X5 delivers brisk acceleration and responsive handling for a midsize luxury SUV. The 375-horsepower X5 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 5.3 seconds, while the V8-powered M60i cuts that time to roughly 4.2 seconds. BMW’s xDrive system can automatically redistribute power to help improve grip when road conditions change. Performance-focused models also add sportier chassis tuning and other upgrades designed to make the X5 feel more agile and controlled.
Interior
Inside, the 2026 BMW X5 combines premium materials with a driver-focused layout and seating for up to five adults. Available upholstery ranges from Veganza to BMW Individual Merino leather, while optional crystal controls and upscale trim add another level of luxury.
